Acer showed a line of its new products. The greatest interest among them attracted Acer gaming laptop model Helios 700 with a mobile keyboard, personal computers of the new family ConceptD for the price of a good car, as well as a large-scale monitor for gamers CG437K P line Predator.
Acer has developed its own branded ConceptD product line, which will include professional top-of-the-range devices for concept creation. They are mainly aimed at designers, directors, architects and other creative professionals. Their main feature will be high performance, which dictates equally high costs. ConceptD includes desktop computers and notebooks, later on the range will be extended with auxiliary components: monitors, VR-helmet.
Among the new products in the ConceptD range there are two desktop devices. All representatives of the professional range are characterized by a considerable price, but the leader among them became a model ConceptD 900. This is a kind of supercomputer for home with premium components and price.
It is based on server-level processors, represented by two 40-core Intel Xeon Gold with extended professional graphics Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000. The computer has 192 GB of RAM and 12 memory slots. Its cost from 18 thousand euros includes only the system block without a monitor.
Seriously behind the price is another new product in the premium series – the model ConceptD 500 ( starting from 2 800 euros). Computer’s equipment arsenal includes a ninth generation eight-core Intel Core chipset, capable of turbocharging to 5 GHz. Among the components are also present graphics Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000, 64 GB RAM, in addition, the device can connect up to 4 monitors with 5K resolution.
Among presented new products was also noticed Acer Predator laptop (model Helios 700), which has become the flagship game product of the entire family. It is supplemented by a sliding keyboard HyperDrift, which moves towards the user, and one of the sections can fold, thereby creating additional support. When extended, the keyboard additionally provides better cooling by giving more space to the lower cooling fans.
The new 17-inch Acer notebook with Full HD monitor and 144 Hz refresh rate runs on Intel Core i9 processor, has up to 64 GB of “operations” and up to 2 TB of hard drive capacity. The cooling system includes AeroBlade 3D fans, an evaporation chamber and 5 copper heat tubes.
In addition to gaming new products is also Predator CG437K P a huge monitor. Its size – 43 inches, and the maximum resolution – 3840×2160 pixels. The monitor supports image refresh rate of 144 Hz and is complemented by a remote control. There are three HDMI ports, one Type-C and one DisplayPort each.
