Finishing a long chain of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi introduced Mi10 flagship smartphone . The gadget became for the company an anniversary, commemorating a decade since the announcement of the first devices of the brand. Another product innovation was a “charged” modification of the device called Mi10 Pro, which received a quick charge of high power and a more advanced main camera.
Xiaomi Mi10 has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that curves around the edges. It supports 90Hz refresh rate at 180Hz sampling rate, with a maximum brightness of 1120 nit and a contrast level of 5,000,000 : 1. According to the Xiaomi representatives, the screen response on touch was brought to “a whole new level”. In the upper left corner of the front panel is inserted 20 megapixel selfi camera.
The smartphone is based on a processor Snapdragon 865 with support for 5G generation networks (SA / NSA) and is equipped with an advanced cooling system with an area of 3000 square millimeters, capable to effectively dissipate heat even when running demanding applications. Xiaomi Mi10’s built-in 30W fast and wireless battery has a capacity of 4780mAh.
The device has received a new standard of RAM LPDDR5, whose performance is 20% higher than LPDDR4X. There are several options available for users to choose from: 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB of memory, with built-in memory is the latest UFS 3.0 standard. As expected, Mi10 received support for the latest Wi-Fi 6 wireless standard. The peak transfer rate with a compatible router can reach 9.6 Gbps.
The resolution of the main camera module of the device is 108 MP, auxiliary sensors – 13 (f/2.4, wide-angle optics), 2 and 2 MP. The device supports recording 8K-video, HDR standard and the function of AI-processing images.
The senior modification is called Mi10 Pro differs from the basic model primarily by the configuration of the main camera. Its 108-megapixel module is equipped with 12 and 8 megapixel sensors with telephoto lenses with different focal lengths (10x optical hybrid and 50x digital zoom), as well as a 20-megapixel sensor with a wide angle glass. The smartphone received a battery of 4500 mAh with support for fast charging technology up to 50 W. The Pro version will also be available in versions with 512 GB of internal memory.
Both models support reverse charging of Qi-compatible gadgets up to 10W. It is interesting that the Mi10 Pro comes with a 65W power supply, which means it can also be used to charge laptops with a USB Type-C port.

Xiaomi Mi10 in the 8/128GB version will cost customers $573, 8/256GB version will cost $615, and for the 12/256GB configuration the company set the price tag at $673. Xiaomi Mi10 Pro in 8/128 GB version is valued at $716, while 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB versions will cost $787 and $859 respectively. Sales of the new products are scheduled to start on February 14.
