Apple may increase the number of smartphones in 2020. Instead of the usual three models in the range there will be four of them. In addition, the company plans to release the new Apple iPhone SE series, so next year will be a real surprise for fans of the product, which will bring the “apple” collection of five mobile gadgets.

The other two are 5.4-inch model and the most premium 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. All four devices will receive an OLED-matrix, in favor of which in 2020 Apple will make the final choice instead of IPS-displays. In addition, two out of four models, according to analysts, will certainly get support for 5G-networks and, most likely, it will be the top smartphones of the 12th series.

In addition to all the changes, every new Apple iPhone, starting with the 2020 model line, will be equipped with the company’s own branded modem. For this purpose in 2019 Apple has acquired a manufacturing division from Intel. The corporation did this primarily for its own independence and to reduce the risk of various financial disputes with third parties, for example, as in the case of Qualcomm.

The fifth newcomer in 2020 will be the new iPhone SE, the premiere of which may take place in the first half of next year. The budget model with the preliminary name SE 2 will act as an alternative to iPhone 8, as their design is very similar, but the SE 2 iPhone will have more modern components. According to preliminary data, the iPhone SE 2 will be equipped with a compact 4.7-inch screen, and the cost of the gadget in the simplest configuration can range from 350 to 400 dollars.
