Electric cars only in recent years have started to enter the wide car market and do not yet differ in affordable prices. If Tesla tries to expand the range with more budget models, another American company – Bollinger – presented “green” SUVs at a price of Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
The manufacturer announced that the basic models of B1 SUV and B2 pickup truck will be sold at a price of $125,000 – a quarter more expensive than planned during the announcement in 2017.
Together with the increased price, Bollinger also improved the performance of both electric cars. They will enter the market with two engines on the rear and front axle with a total power of about 614 horsepower and torque of 906 Nm – the machines accelerate up to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The power reserve from the built-in 120 kWh battery is about 322 km.

B1 and B2 each weigh 2.2 tonnes with a load capacity of 2.4 tonnes. Both models have adjustable ground clearance of up to 500 mm. At the same time, the B2 pickup truck can carry loads up to five metres long due to the increased body length. Production of the models will start in 2020, and they will be available by 2021.
