
Owner of the Honor brand, Huawei has introduced the MagicWatch 2 fitness watch with advanced swimming tracking features. The watch body of can withstand the pressure of 5 ATMs, which means you can dive to shallow depths and wash your hands under a strong jet of water.

MagicWatch 2 tracks heart rate, distance travelled, speed and calories burned. They also know how to calculate SWOLF’s swimming efficiency – the sum of seconds and rowing necessary to swim the pool in one direction. The lower the score, the more efficient the swimmer’s technique is.

Like Apple Watch, Honor’s newest feature keeps track of the number of heartbeats during the day and warns if their frequency is too high or too low. It also helps to relax and relieve stress by offering breathing exercises and can diagnose 6 common types of sleep disorders.
MagicWatch 2 has a stainless steel body in two sizes – 46 and 42 mm. They have 1.4- (454×454 pixels) and 1.2-inch (390×390) AMOLED screens, respectively. Inside there is a processor Kirin A1 (the same as Huawei Watch GT 2), declared support for GPS. Bluetooth connection range is up to 150 meters.
Half of the 4 gigabytes of built-in memory can be used to store music (~500 tracks). The company promises that the battery of 46-mm version of the smart hours will last for 14 days of work: at the rate of 90 minutes of training with GPS on, 30 minutes of calls via Bluetooth and 30 minutes of listening to music per week. The 42mm battery will last half as long as 7 days.
