HUAWEI introduced an updated version of the MateBook X Pro notebook based on the 10th generation Intel processor. It is equipped with an NVIDIA discrete graphics card, impressive battery life and a special feature that synchronizes content with Android gadgets.
Laptop is equipped with a 13.9-inch LTPS touch screen with a resolution of 3000×2000 pixels, 450 nit brightness and 100% sRGB color gamma coverage, which occupies 91% of the top cover. Features of the model – a slim display frame and “antispy” camera, whose sliding mechanism is integrated into one of the function keys. Case also includes a fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello authorization without entering a password.
“Heart” of the most advanced modification of MateBook X Pro is a quad-core Intel Core i7-10510U processor with eight execution streams and a maximum operating frequency of 4.9 GHz. More affordable configurations are based on the 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor. Size of RAM is 16 GB, SSD NVM – 256 or 512 GB, the higher version comes equipped with a terabyte disk storage. Multimedia capabilities of the device are represented by four built-in speakers.
In addition to built-in Intel UHD graphics, some notebook modifications have received a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX 250 graphics card with 2 GB of GDDR5 video memory. List of interface connectors on the model includes two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-A, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Announced autonomy of the new product is up to 12 hours of autonomous video playback or up to 11.5 hours of web surfing on a single charge of the built-in battery. The minimum thickness of the metal case of the device is only 4.9 mm.
Laptop operates on Windows 10 operating system and supports synchronization with smartphones that are part of the ecosystem of the vendor. In particularly, it supports phone calls from a laptop and editing the content stored in the gadget memory using the power of a portable PC.
HUAWEI MateBook X Pro will go onsale at €1499 for configuration with Intel Core i5 processor, built-in video, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. 512GB version with NVIDIA discrete graphics and 512GB SSD will cost customers €1,699, while the higher model in the Intel Core i7 lineup with 16GB of RAM, terabyte drive and GeForce MX 250 will cost customers €1,999. Start date for new products will be announced by the manufacturer later on.
