Last year the Swedes showed the model Polestar 2, which received a special version of Google Automotive operating system based on Android.

This time Volvo has named its new prototype Precept. The name includes the company’s desire to create vehicles that are not capable of damaging the environment.
The technical equipment of the model is not announced. It is only known that it is assembled from environmentally friendly materials. Even in the press release of the company focused on the implementation of deeper integration of the filling of the device with the new operating system Google Android Automotive.

Specialists of the manufacturer indicated that part of the interior and backrests are made of linen composite products. This allowed for a 50% weight reduction and an 80% cost reduction compared to the polymeric counterparts.

Seats of the machine are made of plastic, which is the result of recycling of plastic bottles. The interior has elements made of cork vinyl waste. Swedes believe that such materials will soon be the item of equipment for most premium vehicles.

Precept will get some new features. They are not reported, but it is said that each driver will be able to adjust the control according to their personal preferences. The car will also be able to recognize the driver as he approaches.

Electric car will be equipped with two screens: 15.6-inch on the dashboard, and an additional, 12.5-inch with various sensors. Displays will show all the necessary and important data.
All information about Precept’s technical equipment will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, which is to be held from 5 to 15 March.
