ReMarkable 2 runs on a Linux-based Codex operating system and supports imported ePUB and PDF documents. You can export your notes and pictures in PDF, PNG or SVG format.
Stylus can be attached to the side of ReMarkable 2 using the built-in magnets. Case is also attached to the tablet with the magnets. Although the new version is thinner than the first model, it is also heavier. ReMarkable reports that this is because the case is mostly made of aluminum. Single charge time has been increased and performance has increased by 140 percent thanks to a new processor and more energy efficient RAM.
