Apple is preparing to release the next generation of Apple TV boxes. The new model promises to be much more productive, especially in terms of games for the Apple Arcade service.

In the internal files of the test installation found references to the device under the code name T1125, while the latest Apple TV model with support for 4K is called J105a and HD version – J42d. The letter T at the beginning probably indicates a prototype that has not yet been completed.

Not much is known about the new Apple TV yet. Judging by tvOS 13.4 files, the processor of the updated TV box will be built on arm64e architecture. The same technology is used in the most modern chips A12 and A13 Bionic, which can be found in the iPhone 11 line. The current generation of Apple TV is installed A10 Fusion. The maximum supported resolution is probably will remain 4K with HDR.

In addition to the TV box, at the spring presentation Apple may announce a low-cost 4.7-inch iPhone, “smart” Apple Tag keychain for lost things, iPad Pro tablet with triple camera and an updated MacBook with 13-inch screen.
