How the Galaxy S11 will look is no longer a secret. At the weekend images of the future flagship smartphone Samsung shared a source that has previously repeatedly published correct leaks.
The owner of the Twitter-account @OnLeaks claims that the renderers of the smartphone are based on first-hand drawings received from a source in Samsung.
Compared to the Galaxy S10 in the design of the Galaxy S11 there are three key changes. First, on the front panel will change the location of the selfi-camera: surrounded on all sides of the screen lens is no longer at the edge, and in the middle, as in smartphones Galaxy Note10.
Secondly, the volume control and power on/off keys are no longer on the left, but on the right. There are no additional mechanical buttons on the smartphone. Finally, the lenses of the rear cameras (5 pieces) and flash fit into a fairly massive rectangular projection. According to the drawings, without it the smartphone thickness is 7.8 mm, and with it – 8.9 mm.
Another important difference: the Galaxy S11 will no longer be a relatively compact smartphone like the Galaxy S10. The width of the case is 73.7 mm, a fraction of a millimeter less than the Galaxy S10+, and the height is even greater – 161.9 mm against 157.6. The increased dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S11 are explained by the increased screen size to about 6.7 inches.
According to rumors, the smartphone will get a 108-megapixel main camera (probably the same sensor as Xiaomi Mi Note 10), supplemented by a wide-angle and a TV with a 5-fold optical zoom, ToF-sensor and another photo sensor, the purpose of which is still unknown. The Galaxy S11 screen will be able to update the image at 120 frames per second – twice as much as most modern smartphones. Depending on the country of sale, the device will be equipped with an Exynos 990 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 on-chip system.
When will the Samsung Galaxy S11 be released? If the company does not change the tradition, the announcement will take place in the middle or second half of February 2020. The price of the Galaxy S11 will depend on the modification: the most affordable Galaxy S11e in the line will be the Galaxy S11e with a 6.2 – 6.3-inch screen and three rear cameras instead of five, the most expensive being the 6.9-inch Galaxy S11+ (or the Galaxy S11 Pro if the Korean company joins the fashion marketing trend). In addition, all three smartphones are expected to have versions with 5G support, which will surely be more expensive than the versions that can work only in 4G-networks.
