Swiss company Swatch has announced the release of a new model of hybrid smart watch Tissot T-Touch Connect Solar. Its main feature is a long battery life thanks to solar energy. In addition, this accessory has an unusual list of supported platforms.

Tissot Touch Connect Solar has a massive 47 mm round case made of titanium or ceramic. Watch is operated by the Swiss Autonomous Low Power System (SwALPS). It provides the ability to track the wearer’s physical activity, alert him or her of incoming notifications and, of course, display the time. Watches also have a GPS module for accurate location detection.

According to the manufacturer’s guarantees, due to the ability to recharge watch from solar energy, it can work continuously up to six months, after which the battery needs to be replaced.
This accessory is compatible with iOS, Android and, quite unexpectedly, devices running Harmony OS from HUAWEI. New Tissot Touch Connect Solar will be released this summer and will cost about $1000.
