Already impressive Xiaomi’s product range has been extended with the new Mijia Electric Shaver. Its main feature is five blades that provide more thorough shaving. In addition, it uses an extremely powerful engine.

The shaver has a minimalistic design with a black body. There is one power button from the controls. Under the removable plastic cover there is a movable head with five omni-directional blades with ultra-thin grid, which fits tightly to the skin and follows the contours of the face.

According to Xiaomi, the razor has a motor that vibrates at a record speed of 15,000 times per minute. It uses a highly elastic material that provides rigidity and strength. The manufacturer claims durability of the mechanism and resistance to overheating. Thanks to vibration, Mijia Electric Shaver also performs the function of self-cleaning from dirt, fat and hair.

The declared shaver time from the built-in battery for 2000 mAh is 90 minutes. A single shaver requires only 3 minutes to recharge via the symmetrical USB Type-C connector. To protect against accidental activation in the bag manufacturer has also provided a lock mode, which can be activated by pressing the power button.

Mijia Electric Shaver is now available at the crowdfunding site of Xiaomi for $61, and will cost $71 at retail.
