In the Tesla family of electric cars is a new car model: Ilon Mask at the presentation on Friday presented the Cybertruck pickup, production of which will begin in two years. Car received shockingly angular design in the style of sports cars of the 70s – 80s and record-high characteristics.
Tesla promises that the new model will be able to accelerate up to 100 km/h in less than 2.9 seconds, and one full charge of the battery will be enough for the top model to drive more than 800 km. Cybertruck’s payload is about one and a half tons, and it can tow objects weighing up to 6.35 tons.

The body of the first Tesla pickup truck is made of stainless steel and can withstand hammer blows and even bullets. The glass should also be resistant to impacts, but it couldn’t resist the demonstration on stage. The vehicle is equipped with an adaptive air suspension, allowing, for example, to lower the rear part for easier loading.

The basic model with rear-wheel drive and 400 km of power reserve will cost customers $39,900; it will be produced at the end of 2021. The top all-wheel drive version with three motors will cost 69900 and will appear on sale in 2022.
